Stock Levels, Backorder & Deliveries Due to a national interstate, and international/import delay with shipping & logistics, stock levels are experiencing known shortages across most, if not all suppliers, importers, manufacturers and distributors. We are endeavouring to increase our stock holding for the busy period, however have already found it difficult to receive stock at a typical level, let alone increased. In receiving payment for an order we promise to action your order/non-stocked purchases as quickly as we physically can, and will provide our best estimate on due dates/dates for arrival. In providing this information, we appeal for your understanding on current climate of stock and logistics – the information we pass on is provided to us by suppliers and their best understanding of stock movements. We have found these stock movements to change daily, and can experience delays without any forewarning – due to logistic reasons outside their and our control. If you require something for the Holiday period we urge you to take action as soon as possible – however also to consider that if the dates are cutting it too close – we cannot guarantee your order may arrive in time. Warranty & Service Each year we experience the frustration of customers when they have issues with equipment. You have recently bought equipment which is under manufacturer warranty terms & conditions. To clarify & hopefully help our customers understanding of terms, in the event you have a request for repair under warranty, we offer the following advice. Warranty is offered by all manufacturers during business hours, Monday – Friday. To access this service, we recommend you have your information on any equipment under warranty readily available. Refer to the user operator manual for the manufacturer’s warranty contact information. Take note to have your contact information (mobile number, email & site address), along with the model number, serial number and date of purchase of the product at hand before calling. Contacting manufacturer directly rather than the on-seller is the best way to receive quickest call-out response times possible. Warranty callouts required after-hours, on weekends and on public holidays will incur a callout charge from the manufacturer, if requested to attend outside normal business hours. In most cases, manufacturers or service agents will request credit-card details prior to attendance, to cover after-hours callouts, and to cover visits where the issue or repair is deemed as non-warranty item as per their terms and conditions, and as such is chargeable. This is standard policy by manufacturers, that is outside HILLER’s control as a reseller. We fully understand the frustrations if a problem occurs during these times, again this is the policy of all manufacturers no matter which industry is in question. We take this opportunity to thank you for your support, and hope that in clarifying this warranty process – we’ve been able to increase awareness of many manufacturer’s standard terms and conditions, leading to better understanding during the unlikely and unfortunate event of equipment failures.
